Yellowstone

Yellowstone is a national park located primarily in the U.S. state of Wyoming, although it also extends into Montana and Idaho. Established in 1872, it was the first national park in the United States and is often considered the first national park in the world. The park is known for its geothermal features, including the famous Old Faithful geyser, as well as its diverse ecosystems, wildlife, and stunning landscapes that include mountains, forests, and rivers. Yellowstone sits atop a volcanic hotspot, which contributes to its unique geothermal activity. It is home to various species, such as bison, elk, and grizzly bears, and serves as a significant conservation area and a popular destination for recreation, tourism, and scientific research.
