Volleyball

Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams, typically consisting of six players each, compete to score points by hitting a ball over a net and into the opposing team’s court. The objective is to ground the ball on the opponent’s side of the court while preventing them from doing the same. Each team can touch the ball up to three times before returning it to the other side, with players usually using a combination of skills such as passing, setting, hitting, and blocking. The game is played in matches, which can be best of five sets. Points are scored in a rally system, meaning that a team can score regardless of who served. Volleyball is played both indoors and on outdoor courts, such as beach volleyball, which involves two-player teams. It is recognized for its fast-paced action, strategic gameplay, and emphasis on teamwork and communication among players.
