Sri Lanka Cricket

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) is the governing body for the sport of cricket in Sri Lanka. It is responsible for the organization and management of national cricket teams representing the country in international competitions, including Test matches, One Day Internationals (ODIs), and Twenty20 matches. SLC oversees domestic cricket tournaments, player development, and the promotion of cricket at all levels within Sri Lanka. The organization also plays a key role in scheduling fixtures, ensuring compliance with international cricket regulations, and fostering relationships with other cricket boards around the world. Established in 1932, Sri Lanka Cricket has been instrumental in the country’s cricketing success, including winning the ICC Cricket World Cup in 1996.
